REMINDER: Register NOW for 2019 Hill Day, April 24-25, 2019, Washington, D.C.

February 4, 2019

The FAMA/FEMSA GAC 2019 Hill Day will be held April 24-25 in Washington D.C. in conjunction with the CFSI’s 31st Annual National Fire and Emergency Services Symposium and Dinner.

Please (click here) to register. The deadline for Hill Day registration is March 11, 2019.
For Hill Day planning, we encourage you to register early and go to the CFSI website, cfsi.org, to secure your hotel room for the event.
2019 will be a critical year for future funding of the Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program. FY 2020 funding for the Department of Homeland Security may continue to be contentious during the current political environment, and over 90 new members of Congress have been sworn in as part of the 116th Congress. It is important that they be educated early on the importance of our priority programs. Your participation in 2019 Hill Day is, therefore, extremely important.
As in previous years, participants will be assigned a Hill Day team that will make congressional visits over the two-day period, including your own congressional delegation. The office of our GAC Sr. Adviser, Dave Gatton, will develop each team’s schedule of meetings in addition to the necessary resource materials.
2019 Hill Day will begin with our Orientation and Legislative Briefing at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 24th, at the Hilton Washington Hotel’s Kalorama Room . Please (click here) for the Preliminary Agenda for 2019 Hill Day.

Information on tickets for the CFSI Fire and Emergency Services Dinner on Thursday, April 25th is available at cfsi.org.
